E4 have announced the commissioning of The Body Shocking Show, from Twofour.
Hosted by?comedian and magician Pete Firman?(The Magicians), and actress, model and presenter Jessica-Jane Clement?(The Real Hustle), the eight-part series will?marvel at the outrageous and extraordinary people who have done bizarre things with their bodies.
Commissioning Editor for Channel 4, Kate Teckman, said: ?The Body Shocking Show?s unflinching and irreverent approach to the extraordinary actions of people around the globe promises to truly amaze viewers. From extreme body piercings to people who have their nipples and belly buttons removed for reasons only known to themselves ? only a fool would miss it.?
Head of Factual Entertainment at Twofour, Juliet Rice,?added: ?The Body Shocking Show is a smorgasbord of weird and wonderful and a celebration of the people who love to push boundaries. Be prepared to watch through your fingers at times!?
Verne Troyer, Dead or Alive?s Pete Burns and Jackie Stallone will also appear show.
